It's a long time in the future from the time most of you are from. I am of Terran descent, I guess, but I've only ever been to Terra once or twice for business. My parents moved a lot, so I lived on a few different planets and space stations growing up.
The galaxy I'm from is big, but most of it used to be part of an empire controlled by the Bajar family. The empire fell about a hundred cycles ago, so there's no overarching structure of authority. You have a few big factions that control a lot of the galaxy, and that's about as close as it comes, but they're all really looking out for their own interests. I used to work for United Free Trade Planets, which is a corporation formed by some of the Bajar descendants to convert some of the former imperial holdings into private equity. They're not nice people, but UFTP and Griivar Worlds are kind of the only game in town.

Not that tough. We can get around between planets pretty easily - it was only tough if we moved a bit further away.

BUT ANYWAY--for now, they can be on the ship, because if they're planetside he's going to be insanely overprotective. I think it's funny if they're outside the spa and he's just staring at it like a dog who just realized they're at the vet]
