It's pretty rough when it's someone like her, someone very kind. No one deserves to lose their agency, but definitely not her.

Yeah. Everything about this place... it was so hard on her from the very beginning. [He didn't have a lot of time with her, of course, but he still remembers how panicked she'd been that first time he'd found her in the simulations room.] For it to end like this... I know the world isn't fair to anyone, but it's especially hard to see.

She's tougher than you'd realize at first. [at least, her first impression was similar.] But to lose control like this is a nightmare.

[Luke nods; he believes it, just from what he's observed. Frankly, he thinks most of this ship is kind of freakishly resilient, given that they seem to get their mass hysteria energy out via cursing each other into animals instead of, like, jumping off the spaceship.]

...With any luck, she'll have a moment of lucidity. And they'll let her do what she has to. [He doubts it, but. It could happen.] The others made it clear that the rage doesn't go away. And... I think there are people on that side who won't let her hurt anyone else.
