Yeah. It's...we got the messages that this has happened before, but I'm not even sure where to start looking to figure out the source or how to help find that answer. Unless you have other ideas.

Not yet. [Hmmm. He wants to be cautious, but he knows Shoma is smart and hardworking, so...] We have a lot of the same information. So we're getting closer to figuring out the origins--and I think that might be the key to figuring this out.

You think? [ that's...promising, in a way. he can be happy they're getting somewhere. ] We're finding new information each week, and the senior crew seems to be remembering more and more each time. If we can put it all together, even having the overlap will give us an idea.

When you say they're remembering--can you tell me a little more about that?

Whatever was originally, like, brainwashing them seems to be wearing off. The remember more about their original lives and that they aren't meant to be here. They're starting to remember more names from the original crew, and things they encountered during the winter tour. It's a slow process, but they're getting there.

That matches up with what I've heard. And you guys have been finding documents and things, right? Have you shown them to the senior crew too?

Yeah. A lot of us have been showing them as many as we can, and that's triggering their memories coming back stronger...even if it's also hurting them. But they've said they still want to be in the know.

So it is hurting them... [Nyeh. He'd known that, kind of, but hearing confirmation is--not good, exactly, but good information to have.] If it's working, then I think you'll just have to keep at it. It's not the most efficient method, but it's the best we've got under the circumstances.

Yeah. It's been getting worse over the weeks. I'm pretty sure it's because of the wetware they all have. [ dislikey. ] It's migraines mostly, but parts of their body get tense, too. It's working, and they acknowledge it is, so we just have to be careful how much is too much at a time.
