I don't think they're the ones who brought us here. [He settles on.] I believe that much is true. But I don't trust this situation, and I don't believe their explanations about it. And I think that, when things come to a head, they won't be on our side.
Ideally, I'll be able to get in touch with my team at home, and they'll help get us out of here with minimal trouble. But until I can do that, I'd be cautious of them.

If they really signed up for all this and they remember it, then they're going to trust the people they know, the ones they listen to all the time. Most people want to believe in goodness. [With some exceptions, obviously, but. That's a philosophical discussion, not a practical one, really.]
A detective has to have a good network, after all! [Among other things.] I know someone who has the equipment to pick up any message I'd send him, as long as I can tap into it. As for the rest of them... [He shrugs!] We just work together. Aside from [Jimothelle] my best friend, I wouldn't say I'm all that close to them.
